I am Nora Soini, a short-term therapist in presence and systemic approaches from Espoo.

I am currently training to become a craniosacral therapist, graduating in autumn 2026. During my studies I offer practice sessions at an affordable rate. I am also studying to become an energy healer, graduating in spring 2027.

Life has taught me a great deal about being human, about relationships, and about how deeply our experiences shape us.

I am in my early sixties, a mother of two adult children, and I have been in a long marriage. In 2011 I became self-employed. Before that I worked for many years in an international company.

My path to this work has unfolded through personal growth over many years. Through my own therapy I found a helper within myself years ago. When your own inner work goes far enough, you often wish to support others on their journey too.

Throughout my life I have also faced deep challenges.

As a teenager my parents divorced; as a young adult I was rejected without explanation; and as an adult I was subjected to prolonged bullying. These experiences left their mark, but they have also taught me a great deal about being human, vulnerability and how a person can find their way back to connection with themselves.

What matters most in my work is a safe, calm space where a person can be met as a whole; body, emotions and mind. I believe each person already holds within them a direction towards balance and wholeness. Sometimes we only need a moment to pause and be seen on our journey.

Three cornerstones of my practice

I combine conversation, presence and somatic listening to create a holistic and safe space.

Conversation

Together we explore feelings, bodily experiences and the relationships and life history that shape you – in a genuine, safe encounter. You get to talk about whatever feels most important right now.

Presence

A moment where you get to be seen and heard exactly as you are – without hurry or demands. Presence itself is a healing experience.

Body awareness

Craniosacral therapy calms the nervous system through gentle touch. The body holds wisdom that words cannot always reach.

Answers to common questions

It is completely normal for therapy to raise questions.

What is short-term therapy?

Short-term therapy is goal-oriented, practical conversational support that helps you find clarity, direction and relief for the challenges of the present moment. In therapy we pause with your situation in a safe, confidential atmosphere where you can be truly heard.

The work emphasises presence – stopping in the moment and calmly exploring your experience – and a systemic perspective that takes into account relationships, interaction and your life situation as a whole. Together we look for new perspectives and concrete ways to support everyday life. Short-term therapy proceeds according to your goals and can bring significant insights and change even in a short time.

How do I know if I need therapy?

If something is weighing on your mind, your life situation feels overwhelming, or you find yourself going over the same thoughts again and again – therapy can be exactly the right place to pause. You don't need a crisis or a diagnosis. It's enough that something in your life is calling for space to be heard.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, absolutely. Everything discussed in therapy sessions is completely confidential. I am bound by professional confidentiality, and your information will never be shared without your consent. A sense of safety and trust is the very foundation of our work together.

Do I need to know anything in particular?

Not at all. You don't need any prior experience with therapy or a specific reason to come. You arrive as you are, in this very moment – and that is entirely enough. The first session is always a calm introduction where we explore together what you need.
